Thank You Indianapolis!

Last week was a busy one around Engledow Group.  We took part in two separate events downtown on Monument Circle. Engledow Group has been a part of the Indianapolis community for over 80 years and we love sharing our passion for landscaping with the community.

National Indoor Plant Week – Plant Give-a-way

On Wednesday, September 16th, Engledow held its 4th annual plant give-a-way on Monument Circle to celebrate National Indoor Plant Week.  This week is a chance for interior landscapers across the country to spread the health and wellness benefits of indoor plants.  Indoor plants help clean indoor environments and increase productivity amongst workers.  We gave away 3,000 Ardisia plants in a little over 2 hours! These are a beautiful, hearty plant that are easy to take care of. The event was a huge success, with many people telling us that they still had their plants from our first give-a-way 4 years ago! We hope everyone enjoys their Ardisia plants and we can’t wait until next year.

Downtown Indy’s INSpired Beauty Event

On Thursday, September 17th, Engledow participated in Downtown Indy’s first ever INspired Beauty event.  This event was a fundraiser for Downtown Indy Beautification Fund.  This fund was established to help keep Indianapolis one of the cleanest in the entire country.  There was great food, great music, and lots of money was raised for the Beautification Fund.  Engledow Group participated in the “Planter Challenge”, which pitted us against 3 other landscaping firms to see who could create the most eye-catching planter in 30 minutes.  It was a hard fought battle, but in the end Engledow was announced as the winner!  Although we won the “Planter Challenge”, the city of Indianapolis was the real winner at the end of this wonderful event.

Engledow Group is Indianapolis’ most comprehensive landscaping firm.  From interior plants to exterior maintenance, from corporate events to hardscape projects, Engledow has all of your landscaping needs covered.  If you are interested in our services, or have any questions about our events downtown last week, feel free to give us a call at (317) 575-1100, or fill out the form below.
