This is a FT hourly, daytime position, working Monday - Friday. The Accounting Clerk completes the accounts payable activities for designated internal customers including but not limited to the areas of paying vendor bills, processing employee reimbursement checks, maintaining PO system and compliance with applicable laws. Also performs front office duties, answering phones, transferring calls, taking messages, greeting visitors.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Use current accounts payable software to process vendor payments and employee reimbursement checks and other payments as necessary.
  2. Maintaining all accounts payable records, files, etc. and information management. This would include but is not limited to: storage of records or payments, maintaining current PO systems, and other tasks associated with accounts payable.
  3. Monitor credit card billings and collect receipts from employees, prepare monthly statement for Controller and EE review. 
  4. Work with Controller to resolve account payable issues and general ledger determinations.
  5. Align with Controller on any issues regarding accounts payable or other associated tasks, including collections that may require input or guidance.
  6. Receive and review monthly statements from vendors and locate missing invoices.
  7. Receive customer paper checks, bank scan and make deposits as needed.
  8. Perform reception duties, including answer phones, take messages, transfer calls, greet visitors, providing a friendly and professional first impression.

-Must have knowledge of accounts payable function including accounts payable software, general ledger codes, vendors and information management.

-Must learn the reception desk responsibilities, including phone system.

-Must have knowledge of all accounts payable related laws and regulations.

This position is responsible for the maintenance of Engledow clients' properties. This includes working with a team to complete the necessary tasks. Position includes but is not limited to:  Watering, weeding, edging, trimming, mulching, planting, pruning, snow removal in winter season and trash removal, and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.  Provide maintenance services to Engledow commercial and/or estates customers in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining quality standards.

Chemical Applicator

Deliver outstanding customer service, as defined by the customer and account managers regarding chemical applications. Responsible for the application of pesticides within residential or business areas to lawns, ornamental trees and shrubs, park areas, and other recreational areas. Responsibilities may include snow removal services in the winter season.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering chemical applications according to Engledow quality standards.
  • Contribute to and support others in establishing a positive work environment by tackling issues and maintaining honest, meaningful dialogue.
  • Maintain steady communication with Chemical Application Team.  Make recommendations for chemical applications.
  • Strive with others for the efficient utilization of resources and coordination of activities on clients' sites.
  • Keep current with new chemical regulations and OSHA standards in regard to chemicals. Follow all laws, regulations and certification requirements. 
  • Complete necessary paperwork for notification to client at time of service.
  • Complete necessary time sheet entry and tracking of materials for billing purposes.
  • Provide assigned winter services per the instruction of the Winter Services Manager.

Job Summary


The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator position is a part-time role at 20-25 hours per week, facilitating the human resource functions of the company, with some duties assisting the accounting department. Concerning HR, this position plays a vital role in recruitment, along with interviewing and onboarding. The HR Coordinator also administers employee benefit plans, including FMLA, leaves of absence, and wellness initiatives, resolving benefits-related issues and ensures effective use of plans, with good knowledge of policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations. This role provides administrative support within the human resource department including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. In the accounting department, this position assists with light accounts receivables initiatives and record-keeping.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities


· Maintain HRIS system, including support/assistance to employees with questions concerning access issues, entering newly hired employees into the system, terminations, record-keeping, recruiting, and other HRIS initiatives and inquiries.

· Manage all employee benefit, insurance, and wellness processes which include benefit administration, monthly insurance enrollment, monthly reconciliations, open enrollment, COBRA and wellness program management. Make suggestions for benefit changes and/or enhancements.

· Ensures benefit plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed

· Advocate for employees with our benefit providers. Assist employees in getting questions answered and issues resolved.

· Process employee leaves of absence and documentation requirements. HR team point of contact for employees while on leave.

· Manage FMLA process as well as ADA requirements.

· Manage and coordinate employee annual performance evaluations and merit increase tracking with support of Management.

· Maintain and develop personnel policies or procedures, collaborating with leadership on changes/enhancements, including employee handbook.

· Manage employment verifications and wage verifications.

· Administer Snow Loan Program and Employee Loan Program. Process documentation of loan agreements and coordination with payroll.

· Manage EEOC reporting requirements.

· Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure organization's compliance.

· Ensure security and confidentiality of all employees’ personal information for the entire organization.

· Review and make recommendations to Managers for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices.

· Assist in providing back-up support for Payroll and contacting select customers regarding outstanding balances.

Deliver a high level of customer service and sales to an assigned Estates client group.  Support, schedule, lead and work with your team members to accomplish work in a timely and cost-effective manner, while completing tasks in the most safe and efficient manner. Providing snow removal duties in the winter. Build excellent client relationships, improving profitability for the Organization, and manage the contract renewals annually. Engledow Group standardized levels of quality and safety standards are to be met at each client location.


 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Understand and execute the needs of each individual Estates client contract, along with being the first point of contact/communication for that set of assigned Estates clients.

2. Responsible for scheduling and delivering horticultural services according to Engledow quality and safety standards.

3. Lead team members through positive example of work quality, addressing issues, and maintaining efficiency.

4. Maintain steady and effective communication with customers, make recommendations for site improvements, and keep them abreast of developments on their sites.

5. Conduct regular site inspections as support for Supervisors and in order to deliver contracted services.

6. Perform contract negotiation (annually) for your assigned Estates client group.

7. Train team members and consistently lead by example

8. Oversee equipment use so as to maximize life and minimize repairs.

9. Enter hours/time accurately into Boss and assist crew with their time sheets.

10. Keep current with horticultural and industry knowledge.

  1. Manage some human resources actions when necessary with Supervisors and/or team members as  needed or seek HR guidance
  2. Coach and train new team members.

13. Provide input and direction for departmental growth and development through participation in team and planning meetings.

14. Participation on a designated team executing snow removal during the winter months.

This position is responsible for the assistance in holiday design and replications, as well as organizing and staging product for installation. This position works closely with and reports to the Holiday Design Manager. This is a temporary, seasonal position, typically lasting 5 months, working 32 to 40 hours per week from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Responsible for replicating design samples for artificial wreaths, trees and arrangements

• Check and refresh existing décor to ensure design presentation, quality and function of décor elements

• Organize decorations and materials necessary for installation

• Responsible for assisting in inventory tracking and management

• Operating tools, ladders and lifts as needed to complete job requirements

• Organize and clean up the work area around each plant/flower or area in the warehouse

• All other duties as assigned

Irrigation Service Technician

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems at Engledow commercial clients’ properties. Maintenance and repair includes but is not limited to: repairing damaged irrigation systems, spring start up and winterization of systems, problem solving and recommendations for resolving client needs. Responsibilities will include snow removal and/or salting in the winter season.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform spring start-ups and winterizations of assigned irrigation clients

· Repair damaged systems as requested by clients

· Be creative in accomplishing the work quickly and accurately

· Maintain and complete all necessary paperwork for billing and time sheets

· Complete necessary paperwork and computer data entry required for payroll and other needed data entry

· Maintain inventories of existing irrigation supplies

· Attend necessary meetings to discuss goals and needs

· Maintain Engledow safety driving standards

· Provide winter services per the instruction of the Winter Services Manager.
