A Breath of Fresh Air: Why Plants Matter

Research has shown that plants and the natural environment have more to offer than just aesthetics. We know that plants act as air filters by absorbing harmful gases and compounds like carbon dioxide, formaldehyde, benzene, and nitrogen dioxide. We also know that views of nature can lower anxiety, provide stress relief, and can improve our well-being  But Nursery Management Magazine poses a thought provoking question, “are people really getting the message?”

The following article explores this question and offers up some real evidence that we hope will work to drive the point home. That is, plants—both inside and out—really do matter.
