 Landscape Install Crew Member


This position is responsible for the installation of landscapes at Engledow Estates residential properties. This includes working within a team to complete the necessary tasks. Installation includes but is not limited to: installing landscapes/hardscapes/low voltage lighting according to plans, transporting materials to job site, removing existing landscapes if necessary, communicating with the client and design/sales team, job site cleanup, heavy equipment operating snow removal in the winter, and trash removal.  The nature of this division will require maintenance services support at times throughout the year.

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems at Engledow commercial clients’ properties. Maintenance and repair includes but is not limited to: repairing damaged irrigation systems, spring start up and winterization of systems, problem solving and recommendations for resolving client needs. Responsibilities will include snow removal and/or salting in the winter season. 


II.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Perform spring start-ups and winterizations of assigned irrigation clients

· Repair damaged systems as requested by clients

· Be creative in accomplishing the work quickly and accurately

· Maintain and complete all necessary paperwork for billing and time sheets

· Complete necessary paperwork and computer data entry required for payroll and other needed data entry

· Maintain inventories of existing irrigation supplies

· Attend necessary meetings to discuss goals and needs

· Maintain Engledow driving standards

· Provide winter services per the instruction of the Winter Services Manager and/or Snow Captain.

ENGLEDOW GROUP HAS A PT and FULL TIME OPENING FOR A PASSIONATE HORTICULTURE TECHNICIAN!


DOWNTOWN INDY TERRITORY:  Hours are somewhat flexible but need to be done between 6:30A and 5:30p - 3 days for PT (22 hours weekly) or 5 days for FT 32-36 hours weekly).


COMPETITIVE PAY and GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

This position is responsible for caring for plants/flowers on designated routes for Engledow Interior clients.  Care includes but is not limited to: watering, pruning, cleaning, removing dead leaves and checking for bugs and disease on customers leased plants.  Engledow Group standardized levels of quality and safety are to be met at each client location, as well as levels of good customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Check each plant or color program to see how much water is needed and water according to Engledow quality standards.

2. Remove all dead and/or yellow leaves from the plant in accordance with Engledow quality standards.

3. Check for bugs and disease in the plants and treat according to Engledow quality standards.

4. Prune branches, etc. that are not in accordance with Engledow quality standards.

5. Dust the plant and wipe down the pot in accordance with Engledow quality standards.

6. Clean up the work area around each plant prior to leaving the area in accordance with Engledow quality standards.

7. Complete and continually update the paperwork necessary to map out each route with complete instructions for plant care at each location to be given to a substitute horticulture technician during any absence of the assigned horticulture technician.

8. Complete all replacement paperwork and float orders in a timely manner and follow-up that the replacements have been completed and meet the client’s expectations.

9. Complete all timesheets and expense reports, submitting them to the appropriate account manager in a timely manner.

10. Turn plants to get the maximum amount of light to aid in improving growth in accordance with Engledow quality standards.

11. Fertilize the plants in accordance with Engledow quality standards.

12. Perform all other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of Engledow Estates clients' properties. Care and maintenance includes but is not limited to: mowing, watering, weeding, edging, trimming, mulching, pruning, snow removal in the winter, planting various plant material, and trash removal, while completing tasks in the most safe and efficient manner.  


Mowing experience required.

Valid Drivers license preferred.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Maintain properties for Engledow Estates 
  •  Accomplish assigned mowing and maintenance tasks in a timely and quality manner
  •  Complete all necessary paperwork for payroll, utilize BOSS, and/or time sheets
  •  Communicate with Estates Supervisor regarding issues at properties
  •  Maintain all driving and safety standards during work
  •  Participation on a designated team executing snow removal during the winter months

I. JOB SUMMARY:

Deliver outstanding customer service, as defined by the customer and account managers regarding chemical applications. Responsible for the application of pesticides within residential or business areas to lawns, ornamental trees and shrubs, park areas, and other recreational areas. Responsibilities may include snow removal services in the winter season.


II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Delivering chemical applications according to Engledow quality standards.

2. Contribute to and support others in establishing a positive work environment by tackling issues and maintaining honest, meaningful dialogue.

3. Maintain steady communication with Chemical Application Team.  Make recommendations for chemical applications.

4. Strive with others for the efficient utilization of resources and coordination of activities on clients' sites.

5. Keep current with new chemical regulations and OSHA standards in regard to chemicals. Follow all laws, regulations and certification requirements. 

6. Complete necessary paperwork for notification to client at time of service.

7. Complete necessary time sheet entry and tracking of materials for billing purposes.

8. Provide input and direction for departmental growth and development through participation in team and planning meetings.

9. Provide assigned winter services per the instruction of the Snow Captain and/or Winter Services Manager.
